I stopped into the Buzz with Ruth Myhre and

had “Mom’s Christmas Cookie” recipe on the back.
Her kids must have had a sense of humor as she
never shared the recipe when she was alive, saying

University Women announced at its December 17 meeting for your Calendar by December 31!

Alexa Shipp, a junior at MSU-Billings seeking a bachelor’s
degree in elementary education, was awarded $1000. Having
already served as a substitute teacher in the Glasgow Public
Schools, she has had a “glimpse” into becoming a teacher and
is “looking forward to making an impact on many children
and helping them accomplish their dreams.”
Nicole Williams, Nashua, on the President’s List at the
University of Montana, Missoula, is a sophomore nursing
student. She has been vital to the Hugh O’Brian Youth
Leadership Organization ever since having been a HOBY
delegate as a high school sophomore. She would like to
“ultimately return to NE Montana and work at FMDH...to
give back and serve the caring and supportive community
