Analysis
The data above measures student growth during the badminton unit. A pretest and a post-test
were administered to the students. The graph shows the difference between the pre and post-
test. There was a significant improvement between the pre-test and the post-test. The class
average went from 32% to 85%. This shows that I did a great job with teaching the subject to
the students. Students were able to grasp the concept of the badminton and the results show
the understanding of the game. After reviewing the test, there were two questions that most
struggled on. This could be due to the fact the question wasn't properly worded or it wasn't
made clear by the teacher. If I were to reteach the unit, I would make sure to clarify on certain
topics like different shots in badminton and when they are used. Looking at the results I am
pleased with the results. All the the students performed better on the post-test. A little over half
of the student scored above the class average of 85% and 9 students got a perfect score. Of the
22 students, 11 students showed a high impact on student learning.
