Deviant Sexual Activities are being done
inside the campus by Students in Mindanao
University of Science and Technology

Abstract of the Research Paper

The researchers’ have observed many incidents of students’ deviant sexual acts in

a school or a university. And this acts are cause of various factors, factors that are present

in the university a certain student may be in. In social networking sites, there are many

videos that have gone viral, showing students sexual activities in the campus. To gather

information on certain factors that could affect students’ sexual desires, the researchers’

made a survey on the students and faculty members of Mindanao University of Science

and Technology. Then those factors are further evaluated and the researchers’ formulated

solutions to cope up with this deviant acts.

A descriptive and random survey design was conducted to collect information and

responses of students, regarding factors that could affect the sexual desires of students and

lead them to do sexual acts. A questionnaire were given to 25 respondents, either a member

of the faculty of MUST or a student. Then the result of our survey were tabulated and

graphed for further evaluating. Then the researchers found out that security and influences

affect most the deviant sexual act of the students, while environmental and common

practices factor have less affirmative answers from the researchers’ respondents. After the

evaluation, the results showed that more security should be placed in most areas that are

frequently visited by students or classes.
