In order to implement GST act,The Government had issued Govt Memo 1" cited & also Govt.G.0.MS.No.58,Finance(WRI)Dept,ct:08.05.2018 3" cited wherein the Government had issued certain guidelines for implementation of GST in all ongoing works, Accordingly, the BOCEs had finalised the reformulated SOR 2017-18 during the meeting held on 26-09-2017 and subsequently reformulated SORs from the year 2008-09 to 2016: 17 were communicated to all the Engineering Departments duly following the above guidelines For the materials such as Steel ,Cement and some of the Public Health items, The Government have allowed montly updation of rates.Hence, it becomes necessary to deduct the relevant embedded taxes(i.e., VAT&Excise Duty/GST) from the montly updated rates of Steel,Cement & some of the Public Health Items. Accordingly the reformulated monthly rates of Steel, Cement & Public Health items are arrived after deducting the applicable taxes such as VAT& Excise Duty/GST and placed before the Sub-Committee of 8OCEs for approval. As regards Public Health items, the rates approved by Engineer-in-Chief(Public Health) are included The Sub-Committee has examined the proposed reformulated monthly rates and approved the rates and directed the Engineer-in-Chief(Admin) to communicate the approved reformulated monthly rates of Steel,Cement & Public Health items(June-2009 to August-2017) to all the Engineering Departments. ‘Accordingly, the reformulated monthly rates are being Communicated to all the Engineering, Departments. Any discrepancies found or corrections required in the approved rates may be brought to. the notice of under signed for issuing corrections.
