Services Nursing care is a process or a series of activities on
nursing practice that is given directly to clients / patients in various health care
settings. Patient satisfaction arises as a result of nursing care services obtained
after the patient compares them to what is expected. This study aims to identify,
analyze and analyze the relationship of nursing care service with patient
satisfaction in the internal room of Balung Jember Regional Hospital.
The type of research used is Correlation by using Cross Sectional
approach. The population is the patient who is in the Internal Room of Balung
Jember Regional Hospital. The sample used is 56 samples by Accidental
sampling. The study was conducted on May 03, 2017 - May 17, 2017 at the
Internal Room of Balung Jember Regional Hospital.
The result of the research was good nursing care with 37
respondents (66,1%) and satisfied assessment about patient satisfaction which got
28 respondents (50,0%). And most respondents said not satisfied with nursing
care service received by the number of 17 respondents (30,4%). Based on Kendall
Tau test results on Nonparametric Correlation table obtained significant value
(pValue = 0,015 <α = 0,152 (value 0,152 is significant value 0,05 from table
Kendall Tau critical value) hence H0 is rejected and H1 accepted meaning there is
correlation Service of Care of Nursing With Patient Satisfaction at Internal Room
of Balung Jember Regional Hospital.
To provide good nursing care to patients Internal room must
provide comprehensive nursing care services by using certain tips in an effort to
provide satisfaction and comfort to the patient.
