Historic Journey So Far

2018 GCA started GCA-D4C (Drive for Change) campaign to change the mindset
of chartered accountancy fraternity in particular and masses in general. GCA
had successfully developed the largest social media platform for
announcement of firm inductions during the whole year. Further, GCA is
also contributing towards assiting our members in securing a reasonable job.

2017 Two GCA admins become “CA Pakistan Brand Ambassador”. Consistent with
prior year, GCA nominated four CASA representatives for North region CASA elections
in 2017.

2016 GCA worked for the betterment of their members. GCA nominated two CASA
representatives for North region CASA elections in 2016.

2015 GCA started WhatsApp group, LinkedIn, twitter, GCA email alerts to serve our
members in a better and effective way.

2014 GCA started correspondence with ICAP & CASA.

2013 GCA started classes for Islamabad students and got exceptional result by the grace
of Al- Mighty ALLAH.

2012 GCA was maturing and growing by leaps and bound.

2011 GCA was in growth phase.

2010 GCA page & first GCA website was formed.

2009 GCA was formed/incorporated at the end of this year.

GCA Consultants is a non-government/non-profit organization working for the development
of professional accountancy and members/students of such professional bodies. We work to
provide career counseling, guidelines and other stuff to assist in making a well-established career in
professional accountancy professions. Our members are social workers from all the corners of

PRACTICES:
It is the policy of GCA Consultants to follow the highest code of ethics and standards of conduct.
It is the obligation of every one of us to act responsibly; that is, to be honest, trustworthy,
conscientious and dedicated to the highest standards of IFAC & ICAP ethical practices.

• The GCA Consultants reputation and its actions as a legal entity depend on the conduct of its
Admins. Each one of us must endeavor to act according to the highest ethical standards and to be
aware of and abide by applicable laws.

• GCA Consultants all must ensure that our personal conduct is above reproach and complies with
the highest standards of conduct and ethics, and have the obligation to ensure that the conduct of
those who work around us complies with these standards. The GCA Consultants Code of Ethics
and Code of Conduct will be enforced at all levels fairly and without prejudice.

• This code to which the GCA Consultants is committed in maintaining the highest standards of
conduct and ethical behavior is obligatory, both morally as well as legally and is equally applicable to
all the Admins of the GCA Consultants who all have been provided with a personal copy.

CASA (N) Election Results Comparison

Winners of CASA elections 2017 are available for resolution of your issues and suggestions. In case
they are not reachable or your issue is not resolved, you can always contact GCA. Unfortunately,
compared to prior years, CASA North taken the votes and become absent from the scene. GCA
decided in principle not to support any CASA campaign in future after such sad incident. GCA will
also not support any unfruitful event of CASA in future like cricket tournament. Ms Mehak Madad
Ali was the first one in the list who betrayed with GCA after CASA elections.

PCSC – 02 issue
ICAP fifteen days before examination sent a message to all examinees that they had to send PCSC
02 certificates by mentioned date otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in exam. This message
and later a courier letter created a tense environment which had been instantly resolved on priority
basis by talking with relevant persons. Later, this issue was amicable resolved and courier letter sent
to all students stood cancel.

GCA Whatsapp Group:

On request of all GCA esteemed members, GCA launched their whatsapp group. We got
tremendous response from the members on this group and this group is running on whatsapp
with good pace and helping students to share their issues just at the click of keypad buttons. Till

December 31st, 2018, we had eleven (12) GCA Consultants whatsapp group running very

effectively and productively with around 3500 members. You can also become GCA whatsapp

GCA Past Paper Analysis:

CAF Stage
GCA launched past paper analysis of CAF stage examinations this year. GCA will revise the past
papers of period commencing on and after Autumn 2014 in March 2019 to cater latest changes in
syllabus. This analysis will be updated on six monthly basis onwards.

CFAP Stage:
CFAP past paper analysis will be available to all desirous students in the first quarter of 2019. This
analysis will be updated on six monthly basis onwards.

MSA Stage:
GCA is regularly updating MSA level past papers analysis of MSA examinations every six months.

GCA Mock Exam Database:

GCA ensure availability of all mock exams to C.A. students inside and outside Pakistan conducted
by ICAP approved RAET’s to facilitate them in their exam preparation to some extent. Such mock
exams will never be a surety that ICAP examinations will contain all such questions of same
resemblance in any time in future.

GCA advised all students in their own interest to cover 100% of their prescribed syllabus (available
at ICAP website), study text and past papers as it is better decision not to take any risk in ICAP
examinations.
