Unit 1: Defining Life Acceleration Activity   

Choose one of the 24 animals that are threatened or endangered in the state of
Georgia. Everyone MUST choose a different animal. Using the fact card provided for
that animal and the internet for research, create a flyer (on paper or on Google Slides).

Flyers MUST Include:


● Your Name (5 points)
● Today’s Date (5 points)
● A Map of the Organism’s Location (15 points)
● A Photo of the Organism (15 points)
● State Status: Threatened or Endangered (10 points)
● At Least One Physical or Behavioral Adaptation and a Description of that Adaptation (25 points)
● Details Referencing at Least 3 of the 8 Properties of Life (25 points)
