Before you review the "Five Change Initiatives for Personal and Company
Success," I though it appropriate to respond to some common questions I
often get at seminars and other public events.

I'm often asked, "How does a company and its people get ahead in today's
competitive business environment?"

My answer, "Companies need to pursue change initiatives that will help

them achieve their full growth and profit potential and you need to
participate and contribute."

HOW DO WE DO THAT?

Your company needs to increase speed, improve quality and lower operating
costs. The first thing it must do is accept this as their challenge. Next, your
company needs to identify change initiatives that will meet that
challenge. And finally, you must help your company implement
methodologies that will facilitate the change initiatives success. That's how
you and your company can get ahead in today's competitive business
environment.

WHAT'S A GOOD CHANGE INITIATIVE?

In the next five emails, I will identify and review five change initiatives that
are the choice of winners. Leading manufacturing companies are making
huge gains in productivity, gross profit margins, quality and customer
satisfaction by mastering and implementing the basics of these five change
initiatives. And, change initiative participants are earning well-deserved
recognition and rewards.

WHERE DO WE START?

"How do you eat an elephant?""One bite at a time!" You and your company
should review all five initiatives and then focus your efforts on only one ...
the one that will yield significant and immediate bottom line results.
CAN ANYONE BECOME A CHANGE INITIATIVE CHAMPION?

Yes, anyone can become a CHAMPION of change. If your team is

experiencing costly part shortages, shop floor chaos, end-of-the-month
scrambling and a resultant profit margin squeeze, anyone with leadership
ability can selects an appropriate change initiative, employ the relevant
methodology and become a "make it happen" CHAMPION.

CAN WE REALLY DO IT?

Yes, you and your company can really do it. I have developed an e-Tutorial
for each of the change initiatives. These e-Tutorials identify and transfer the
methodology that provides a roadmap for change initiative success. More
about that later.

Thanks for coming this far, if you stay the course, you'll be glad you did.
Tomorrow, you'll preview the first initiative, "Lean Manufacturing."

Enjoy your journey,
