If I had one chance to be in the government I wouldn't pass the opportunity. Today generation

reason that can possibly help the future, “why should the voting age be lowered?” Lowering the
age will increase the voting turnout allowing more votes to come in. Lowering the age will
establish new and young voters because believe it or not there”s a lot of teens in this generation,
so allowing people 16-17 to vote it can possibly make a bigger difference (Peto 1). Many people
argue that lowering the age could possibly have an impact in the polls.” It's an age when we
remove generally the mantle. If everyone of all ages actually give it a chance and actually look at
the bigger picture teens are the future. The right to vote should be lowered because the voting
age will increase meaning more voters and higher chances and will improve the lives of the
youth. Today day and age the voting limit is 18 so you can't vote before that. Extending voting
rights to 16- and 17-year-olds is consistent with the fact that turning 16 has special significance
in our culture. At age 16, citizens can drive, pay taxes, and for the first time work without any
restriction on hours. Lowering the age will improve the lives of the youth it gives young citizens
an influence in many decisions. It is very reasonable to let the voting age begin at 16- 17 for
many reasons, many teens start working, get their license etc. so why not vote.
A lot of older people around their 40’s - 50’s doesn't believe the young can make a change
because they're so stuck on the past and being used to the same things for many years and don't
know when there is time for some new and improvement. “Young people are the future,”
believe it or not we have a new and young generation and many young teens need the
opportunity to explore and have real world experiences. Twenty states and the District of

turning 18, some citizens won’t have a chance to vote for their mayor until they are almost 22.
Long-time backers of a lower voting age, like the National Youth Rights Association make this
People argued lowering the age would have impact on the polls on Election Day. Lowering the

because believe it or not a lot of teens are mentally and physically ready to vote. In many other
states it's proven lowering the age helps during the time of voting so it wouldn't seem unfair. “not
Lowering the voting age will improve many young lives and also may be the future.
Many believe lowering the age will help the young be heard as in giving them an opportunity to
be heard. A Lot of people believe teens also have a voice like adults and may even be better than
most adults.
Lowering the age will help improve young lives as giving them a chance to vote. In statistic it’s
stated many people believe lowering the voting age will help teens be heard and letting them
participate in the polls will actually give them that chance to be heard in a positive way. Many
also believe teens have minds and voices like adults they're just younger so older people assume
There are many places that did test on teens and I said 16-17 years old are intellectually ready to
vote. It's just a stigma over teens not being ready or actually being easily influenced by someone
older but that's not the case at all most 18 year olds aren't really ready to vote neither the only
difference is they are legally adults so people's automatically think they are ready and that's just
“Many states actually gave (lowering the voting age a chance)” giving teens a chance to be heard
Lowering the age gives teens an influential voice as in letting people know voting and political
views aren't just for adults or elderly it can also be teens as even 15 years old!
Many teens at this age are able to drive, have jobs and etc. so why not vote? If a 16-year-old can
have a full time job and file taxes they can also vote. The youth sections of the main political
parties allow young people to join at 16 even 15. Therefore, the political parties themselves
There some places in Europe that has a growing population. They have a unique growing youth
population according to the CSO. Their extending the voting rights for the 2019 elections that

young aren't helping the future at all it's just ruining it. There have been many proven facts that
teens are ready so why not allow them and just listen by giving them a chance. Lowering the age,
us the chance to ingrain voting as a habit. Many teens 16 to age 18 are still in school and can be
While this position is popular it is not logical because some can say teenagers might not have
experience of them be immature, or might also say they lack discernment to choose who the right
leaders would be. In that case you can say 29 % of voters that were 18 didn't even vote but they
Helping teens become more aware advocates are saying lowering the age will help the kids out a
lot, just lowering the age will give teens more opportunity to get out and actually have real world
chances and opportunities. “giving elections are fair chance’’ it's basically giving teens a
chance to weigh in with a chance for voting. Believe it not we are the future so why not be
allowed to vote.
This is very important to look in because the way the world is set up it's based of political
anyways and listening to one another and it doesn't really matter what age group you are in.
Actually looking and going out and getting more teens to fight for the right to vote can help [1]
