TITLE
I9RURAL - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND INNOVATION TRANSFER FOR THE FOREST AND
AGRICULTURE

HIGHLIGHTS
Knowledge transfer to the rural and economic agents of the forest and agriculture through
mechanisms of approximation with R & D & I entities. Promotion of synergies as a result of
networking and leading to the innovation of products and / or services in the forestry,
agriculture and rural development sectors.

ABSTRACT
This project aims at transferring new knowledge to rural agents through mechanisms of
rapprochement with R&D+I entities, based on the promotion of synergies as a result of networking
and leading to the innovation of products and / or services in the forestry, agriculture and rural
development.

The planned actions aim to: promote the development of resources that allow structuring and
providing information on innovation developed for the topics considered; to disclose technical and
scientific information to the agents of the sector; transfer new knowledge and innovation to rural
agents; identify innovative factors in lesser-known themes associated with forestry, agricultural
and rural development activities; to approach and facilitate the access of the agents of the sector
to the entities of R&D+i; increase the introduction of innovation factors in rural activities through
technical assistance services.

The results are expected to: improve innovation and empower forestry, agricultural and rural
development actors; to bring together R&D+I and end-user entities through technical assistance
services; to promote meetings of knowledge transfer generated; provide technical assistance
services; disseminate project results.
