Represent a manager. Manager is a request

that detect rows to treat in a table and update
them with the same transaction_group_id. It
passes that transaction_group_id to the
worker.

Workers actually perform the job that need to be

done. To select lines that need to be process, it

uses the transaction_group_id that the manager
pass it to.

CST :Average costing option

Determine which cost processor is being used.

Attention : DO NOT switch the value of that profile option under any circumstances. This will result
in a data corruption.

• INV only : Old cost processor

• INV & WIP : New cost processor

That profile option is set as non visible and not updatable in AOL.

Debug profile options, patchs and tips

Profile option and patchs listed below are available to increase the details of information
provided in log files.

CST:Cost update debug

level
Set value to complete to get maximum information in cost worker log (CMCTCM, CMCOCW, CMCCTW, CMCACW,
CMCMCW)

MRP:Debug Mode
Set value to yes to get maximum information.
This profile option covers much more than inventory workers.
You need to make sure your log file directory is big enough to handle the size of log generated.

Patch 904573
Use this patch to add some profile option that will help analysing log files
Please see Note:1019601.102 and patch readme file available from Metalink

Set trace on for worker and

manager (R11 only)
You can set trace on for any worker listed in the chart.
Go to System administrator/Concurent/program/define
Query on short name
Set the Enable trace flag in the request section
