Today, the construction industry is regarded as a major source of pollution in the

world. Concerning this issue and due to increased demand for cement production,
also for realization of sustainable development and sustainable environmental
patterns, this project intends to introduce materials with cementitious properties.
These materials could replace all or a portion of the cement and this project
would examine and assess them. Also in this project the 3D panels are used. The
application of these panels is of great importance in the construction industry.
These panels have been widely used in the construction industry and at the same
time are among the efficient materials used for retrofitting purposes.
The main goal of this research is investigation of natural pozzolans' properties
to replace the cement and examining the behavior and capacity of the walls made
of 3D panels incorporating these materials. In this thesis, based on the 30 mix
design schemes, a number of cubic and cylindrical specimens were made. In the
structure section, the selected specimens from the materials' investigation
section were utilized. A total number of 10 shear walls and 5 slabs were also
build, where two of the walls were made of the thatched mud.

The 7-day and 28-day compressive strength values of the selected specimen
having bentonite in the materials investigation section with respect to the
reference specimen, had decreased by 32% and 7%, respectively. The 7-day and
28-day compressive strength values of the cement specimen with respect to the
reference specimen were increased by 62% and 35%, respectively. The behavior
and bearing capacity values of the designed shear walls when using bentonite and
the reference specimen using cement were 23.3 and 78.44 KN, respectively. Commented [b1]: ‫شود‬ ‫واحد ظرفيت باربري اصالح‬
