Institute of Banking Personnel Selection invites sealed tenders for disposal of following
items:-

Timelines for the tender process will be as under:-

Note: Important checklist while submitting tender

1) Tender Documents are required to be filled, only in ‘prescribed format’ issued by IBPS.
2) Please ensure that the rates are quoted as Basic Rates + GST %
3) If the bidder desires to inspect any of the items prior to the submission of the offer,
the timing can be fixed in advance for better facilitation.
4) Amount should be quoted separately for specific items. Sealed Tender documents should
reach to IBPS on or before 18th January, 2019 - 4.00 p.m.
5) Please mark on top of the envelope “Financial Bid for ‘Plate Making Equipment’

General Terms & Conditions

The quotation offer should be duly signed and stamped and the same should be submitted in
sealed condition only. The Quotations/offers will be opened on the 18th January, 2019 - 5.00
p.m. in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the IBPS office. The
bidders who wish to be present at the time of opening of the quotations/offers should visit our
office on the date and time mentioned above. In case of any change, the information will be
made available in the IBPS website: www.ibps.in one day in advance.

Other details are as under:-

1. Interested bidders should quote offer amount for Individual items and price should be
excluding G.S.T. as applicable. The Rates are required to be quoted in two parts:

i. Basic Rate (all-inclusive except Taxes)


ii. + GST 18 % (GST% as applicable at time sale)

2. Prior to the submission of the quotations/offers, bidders may if they so desire, undertake
inspection of the machines/equipment that they are interested in at IBPS premises for
sale on “As is, Where is, What is” basis after informing and taking prior appointment for
the same during the specified days at predetermined time mutually agreed by Bidder
& IBPS official.
3. The successful bidder will be given 7 working Days time to deposit the Bidding
Amount by Demand draft (payable at Mumbai) in favour of IBPS. The bidder should be
able to execute Payment within the specified period. Failure to do so shall be deemed
as breach of contract & security deposit of that bidder for that particular amount will
be forfeited.
4. The quotation/offer can be for all or specific item/s also and the same must be mentioned
clearly as per the format. The bidder is required to submit separate sealed envelope for
individual Item.

5. Overwriting and alterations in the Quotation is not accepted and shall be liable to be
rejected outright.

6. Along with the quotation/offer the bidder should furnish the following documents duly
self- certified.
1) Xerox Copy of PAN card
2) Copy GST registration certificate, if available
7. The bidder shall have to settle the payment before lifting the said material from our
premises. The payment will be accepted either by Demand Draft/Pay-order or direct
bank transfer through NEFT/RTGS.
8. The bidder will have to make all necessary arrangements (loading, transportation etc.)
for lifting the material at their own cost. If bidder fails to remove the material within one
week from the date of information given, it will be considered as a breach of contract and
IBPS shall be entitled to sell the aforesaid material to the next party in sequence of
offering maximum/highest total offer amount.

9. The bidder will have to lift the items in presence of office representative during office
hours 10 am to 5 pm after finalizing the date and time with IBPS officials.
10. The highest bidder who will be awarded the tender/contract has to remove all the
item/s specified by the bidder.
11. IBPS reserves the right to terminate bidder’s contract, if the bidder fails to comply
with any of the terms & conditions mentioned.
12. The rate quoted hereby will be effective from 02.01.2019 to 31.12.2019 or till
next tender process is complete, whichever is earlier.
13. Utmost Care should be taken while shifting the equipment to protect IBPS
Property from any kind of damage. In the case of any damage to IBPS Property, the
Bidder will be responsible for its Rectification at his own cost. This may please be
noted.
14. The Bidder has to pick up the equipment / Machinery on the specific Time
& date allowed to them. Failure to do so shall be deemed as breach of contract.
In any extraordinary circumstances, the bidder has to write to IBPS and take
prior permission to defer the date.
15. As per IBPS policy, No cash payment allowed.
16. The bid should be submitted on the ‘Prescribed format’ required by the
Institute and each page thereof should be authenticated by the party with its
rubber seal and signature, failing which the quotation shall be liable to be
rejected.
17. The Institute reserves the right to accept/reject any or all the
quotations/tenders/bids either in whole or in part without assigning the reasons
thereof.
18. The Institute will have the right to dispose the material to more than one Bidder.
19. In case of any dispute the decision of Director of IBPS shall be final.
Dispute, if any, will be settled in the Courts of Mumbai Jurisdiction only.
20. The institute reserves right to alter /change /add / delete any or all the
terms & conditions of the bid/s without assigning any reason, or without advance
intimation to the bidder/s prior to submission date of the tender.

21. Tender offer will be rejected if it is


a. received after the due date
b. Required documents duly self-certified are not provided
c. The Demand Draft for Earnest Money Deposit (EMD Returnable) Rs500/- is not
submitted in separate sealed envelope along with other tender documents.

22. The quotations/offers for ‘Plate Making Equipment’ should be sealed in a


separate envelope. Every sealed envelope should contain page No.1 which will
be common for all items containing details of the bidder along with Page 2 & 3
of financial bid of respective/specific item for which offer is being given. Hence
every sealed envelope will have pages 1, 2 and 3.

23. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD Returnable)


Demand Draft for Earnest Money Deposit (EMD Returnable) Rs.500/- is to be
submitted in separate sealed envelope along with other tender documents.

24. The sealed cover should contain the details as specified and should be
superscripted ‘Financial Bid for ‘Plate Making Equipment’. On “As is Where is,
What is” basis. “and shall be sent on or before 18TH January, 2019 on or before
4pm

25. It is bidder’s responsibility to ensure that their bids, received by the IBPS within
the due date & time.

26. Right Reserved by the Institute: The institute reserves the right to accept or
reject any quotation/offer or part thereof or cancel the tendering process without
assigning any reasons.
