HVX Vacuum Circuit-Breakers – The result of systematic development
for application in modern air-insulated switchgear

General Description

The HVX vacuum circuit-breaker is

the result of systematic development
for application in state-of-the-art air-
insulated switchgear. It is characte-
rized by compact construction,
small dimensions, excellent opera-
tor guidance and modern, functio-
nal industrial design.

Thus it fully satisfies market require-

ments, especially small function
compartments without additional
solid insulating material in the
switchgear panel to ensure dielec-
tric strength.

Design

Design

The vacuum circuit-breaker HVX fol-

lows the proven principle of insula-
tor-type switch design, meaning that
the pole section is fastened to the
drive housing in two places. The
multifunctionally designed pole sec-
tion not only serves as an insulator
between the poles and to the 0
ground, but also incorporates all
support and protection functions.
