Key Points for lab to lab/ day to day for Practical Assessment:-

1.       “Practical Assesment Sheet” is to be prepared preferably by theInstructor.

2.       Marks for “Conduct of the Expt” are to be awarded on the same day by the faculty.

a.       Viva for the experiment done in a lab will be conducted by the faculty in the next immediate lab.

b.      Practical file for the experiment done in a lab will be checked by the faculty in the next immediate lab.

c.       Marks for “viva ” and “Practical file ” are to be awarded by the faculty in the next immediate lab.

3.       Marks awarded by the faculty are to be entered preferably by the” Instructor” in the day to day Practical Assesment Sheet; and also in the students Practical file regularly.

4.       Absentees from a lab are to be awarded zero marks.

5.       In case, a student fails to submit the Practical file in the next immediate lab, 01 mark is to be deducted from the marks allotted for the practical file; and 01 more mark is to be deducted for the 2 nd failure and no mark is to be awarded for the 3rd failure.

6.       Out of the average of all marks obtained by a student in all the experiments done during the entire semester, an appropriate weightage may be given out of 30 marks allotted for the internal practical exam.

All this will be help full for keeping the students regular/punctual/serious for doing the practicals in the labs.
