The chart gives information about where the students who attend colleges and

universities in the UK from 2008-2009 come from.

According to the chart, there were different trends between continents. The number
of students coming from Asia was the highest figure in the period. Nearly 46000 of
overseas students originated from China, which is the commonest country. The second
and third most Asia’s students origin was India and Malaysia, from about 13000 to 39000
students.

Europe and Africa had nearly the same number of international students. Republic
of Ireland was the country with the highest figure of students in the two continents,
which was approximately 15000 students. France had the lowest students, about 13000
students. Germany, Nigeria and USA had the equivalent sudents who decide to study
abroad in the UK.

Overall, Asia was the continents which had the highest UK’s international students.
Europe and Africa was the second and third country that had many students choose the
UK to study overseas.
