    MAJOR SOFTBALL DIVISION NOTES:


    * All games will be started at their designated times (Both teams MUST have at least 9 players participating to have umpires for the game).
    * If one team fails to field 9 players at the beginning of a game, then NO GAME may begin. The umpires will NOT BE ALLOWED to start the game. A 15 minute grace period may be given.
    * Anytime in the game when a team can not field 9 players, then the umpires will not be allowed to continue the game. The game will need to be suspended; board will decide date to resume.
    * Time Limit is 1 hour 30 min. Once the time has expired, no NEW inning will begin. The official game time begins after the plate meeting, the Pledge of Allegiance & Little League pledge.
    * If time expires, the current inning needs to be completed (finish top & bottom of that inning); however 4 innings MUST have been completed to be considered a complete game.
    We will implement a 5 Run Rule Limit per half inning. Once 5 runs are scored, they switch sides. It will be 5 runs or 3 outs, which ever comes first.
    * Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE will a new inning beging after the 10:00pm curfew (any day). An inning shall be finished, but NO NEW INNING will be allowed to be started (not even ties).
    * The 10 Run Rule (after 4 complete innings) & 15 Run Rule (after 3 complete innnings) WILL BE IN FULL EFFECT for the major softball division.
    * Games will follow all Little League Rules & guidelines and any significant updates/changes/modifactions to any playing rules for the major division will be relayed to all managers.
    * MAKE-UP games will be assigned to teams who require them for season completion.
    * Coaches, be sure that all parents receive a copy of this game schedule as soon as possible, so that they can make plans to have their child present for all games scheduled this season.
