Summary
™Congruent objects are exact copies of one another.
™The method of superposition examines the
congruence of plane figures.
™Two plane figures, say, F1 and F2 re congruent if
the trace-copy of F1 fits exactly on that of F2. we
write this as F1= F2.

Summary
™Two line segments, say, AB and CD, are
congruent if they have equal lengths . We
write this as AB = CD. However, it is common
to write it as AB = CD

In the two triangle ACO and BOD, C= D
AOC = BOD = 30o
A OF AOC = 180o – (70o + 30o) = 80o
SO, B of BOD = 180o –(70o + 30o) = 80o
Thus A = B, AC = BD and C = D
Now, side AC is between A and C and side BD is
between B and D.
So, by `ASA congruence rule , AOC is congruent
to BOD
.
