F C /E F G

S c o r e G u i d e — A short arrangement for classical guitar.

• Use standard tuning and capo 2, or no capo and play the piece as Canon in C.

• Play legato, (smoothly), by sustaing notes.

This can often mean not placing all fingers simultaneously when changing chords.

• Full barres are shown as: F ------ where F is the fret number to bar.
• Partial barres are shown as: F/S ------ where S is the number of strings to bar.

• Left hand fingering is shown as ^L, where L = finger 1,2,3 or 4.

• Optional hammer-ons and pull-offs, (H and P), help the faster section to sound smooth.
Try your own variations but not on the beats, only between the beats.

• Alternative measure 12 is easier but less legato as frets 3 and 2 have to be let go to reach 5
which stops the bass line flowing – unless you can manage the stretch from fret 3 to 5.
