Before You Start

Before You Start

You use Navisphere Express to install a new or updated language
pack on a storage system. You can install multiple language packs on
the same storage system, but you can use only one at a time.
Before you start the installation procedure, the following conditions
must be met:
❑ The storage system must not have any faulted components, in
other words each component listed on the Navisphere Express
View Components page has a green check before it.
❑ Any Microsoft Windows 2000 server connected to the storage
system should have Service Pack 4 installed on it. While this is
not a requirement, we strongly recommend it.

Doing so may put the storage system in a state from which it cannot
be restarted.

◆ Create any disk pools.
