We, along with other groups in our class, were tasked to collect data for our performance task in

Statistics and Probability. Our group was assigned with the responsibility of collecting and grouping
the armspan measurements of the students in the HUMSS strand.

In order to collect the data, we asked all four classes for a list of each student's full names.
Afterwards, we inserted their names into tables in alphabetical arrangement and left a blank column
where each class can write down the students' armspans.

Before giving the tables to each section's president, we wrote a letter detailing the purpose of the
activity and listing guidelines to follow in order to make the acquisition of data as accurate as
possible. Thanks to their cooperation and aid in the acquisition of data, we were able to acquire the
armspan measurements of all 160 students in the strand. With 42 students in HUMSS 1A, 41
students in HUMSS 1B, 39 students in HUMSS 1C,and 38 students in HUMSS 1D.
