1. There are 9 pine trees and 6 walnut trees currently in the park. Park workers had to cut down 2 pine
trees that were damaged. How many pine trees will be in the park when the workers are finished?

2. There are 47 rose bushes and 46 popular trees currently in the park. Park workers will plant 11 more
rose bushes today. How many rose bushes will the park have when the workers are finished?

3. Benny has 5 books. Tom has 4 times more books than Benny. How many books does Tom have?
