Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan


At the beginning of the lesson, a variety of cuisines and food-related vocabulary items will be introduced to the
students with an infographic. After a short discussion, they will be given two texts about food recipes and they
will be introduced to the subject passive voice. Then, the students will take a quiz about passive voice on
Google Forms. At the end of the lesson, they will talk about different cuisines in groups. The listening record
might not work, or the electricity might go off, in both of which cases the teacher will read out the text aloud
with appropriate prosodic features and get help from handouts.
