THEME 1: Best practice examples of the use of new
technologies in the primary and secondary schools
SUGGESTED TOPICS

1. The availability of computers in teaching - examples of the use of computer cabinets, where there
is a computer for every child or the use of various devices (where everyone brings their own
device); The advantages and disadvantages;

2. The development and use of digital content in teaching activities - working in classroom, and the
use of working tools in an online environment;

3. Distance learning and its systematic application (e.g. when in need of a teacher from a particular
field, in case of student illness, when students live in remote or hard-to-reach villages - like
mountain villages or islands);

4. The new role of school libraries in strengthening the information and digital literacy;

5. Principals’ point of view – the role of ICT in effective school management – experience with
electronic grade books and professional development of teachers and principals (the challenges
related to teachers' and principals' ICT competencies).

technologies in higher education: internationalisation of
higher education

1. Strategic use of technology in the internationalisation of higher education;

2. European directions, standards and indicators that contribute to internationalisation;

7. Development of study programs and digital learning;

8. Open access and open educational resources;

THEME 3: Best practice examples of the use of new
technologies in inclusive education
SUGGESTED TOPICS

1. Using ICT in inclusive education (e.g. in dealing with the physical and sensorimotor disabilities,
dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, speech impediments, loss of hearing and vision, communication
difficulties, emotional and behavioural disorders);

2. Development of the methodology of teaching subjects so that it promotes inclusive education;

3. Use of and/or development of software for inclusive education;

4. Use of and/or development of assistive technologies;

5. Development of human and technical resources in schools in order to improve inclusive

education;

6. Physical and web accessibility in the service of inclusive education (standards, guides, models,
etc.)
