for asking and giving directions.

2. The students are able to use/ practice theexpressions for


asking and giving directions to someone.

3. The students are able to give responses to the expressions for


asking and giving directions.

4. The students are able to understand the way to use the


expressions for asking and giving directions in their area.

Material (attached) : 1. Topic : Tell Me the Way

2. Sub-topic : Expressions for asking and giving directions

Media : Laptop, in focus, pictures, board marker, and eraser.

Teaching-Learning Activities Duration

1. Pre-Teaching-Learning Activities 3 Minutes

ü The teacher enters the class and greets the students.

ü The students’ conditions are asked by the teacher.

ü The teacher checks the students’ present list.


ü The teacher distributes the material to the students.

ü The teacher introduces a new material to the students by showing some pieces of a
picture and asks the students to guess it.

2. Whilst-Teaching-Learning Activities 10 Minutes

ü From the picture, the teacher explains the definition and the severalexpressions for
asking and giving directions to the students.

ü The teacher explains and gives the examples how to use the expressions for asking
and giving directions in our area to the students.

ü The teacher reads the dialogues and instructs the students to repeat after him.

ü The teacher asks the students to identify the expressions for asking and giving
directions in the dialogue.

ü The teacher gives time for asking questions about the material to the students.

3. Pre-Teaching-Learning Activities 2 Minutes

ü The teacher takes the conclusion of the topic.

ü The teacher gives homework for the students to make the dialogue by using
the expressions for asking and giving directions (individual task).

ü The teacher closes the teaching-learning process and gives greeting for the
students.
