Dhamma Lessons Reaped From A Taiping Trip

A Presentation by Bro. Oh Teik Bin and Chew Wei Heng 1

May your mind dwell in calm and peace.
May all your stress and worry ease.

2
We often complain about many things.
When will we all learn
to count our Blessings?

Maxwell Hill, Taiping 3

Selfless giving is a great spiritual practice.
In true giving, joy arises and there is peace.
4
When there is love,
conflict fades away.
Live your life filled
with love everyday.

5
Reflecting upon
Life’s Transitoriness,
let us strive on for
Nibbana’s Happiness.

6
Beware of the danger of food indulging.
Wise Ones practice
moderation in eating.

Food, Food, Food ….

7
With patience, the mind grows calmer and clearer.
We will all feel much more peaceful and better.

8
Dhamma has to be learnt,
understood and practiced.
Only then can we be free
from Mental Dis-ease.

Bodhi Langka Ram Buddhist Temple, Taiping

9
Our speech, action and livelihood must be right.
Only then can the mind be wise, clear and bright.
10
When attitude
and views
are wise
and right,

happiness
and peace
will soon
grow inside.
11
Live each day wisely and mindfully.
Then you'll be free, peaceful and happy! 12
Happiness…
we want to
know the
‘WHAT’ and
the ‘HOW’.

The trained
mind knows
that Happiness
lies in the NOW.

13
Remember the importance of the virtue of kindness.
Gratitude and kindness reap
so much peace and happiness.

14
When one’s mindfulness is so really lacking,
careless mistakes abound and there’s suffering.

15
The End
May wise words of inspiration
spur you to positive action.
