The author would like to extend her appreciation to the following people who are behind

her successful and memorable on-the-job training (OJT)/ immersion experience:

To our parents, for the love and support, understanding and providing our needs as well

as the advices that nourished us personality on socializing.

Mr. Carlito Panganiban Colorado, CPCCONS President, for being kind and caring on

handling us during the work immersion.

Mr. Mark Jason Miranda, Admin Personnel, who teach us new things inside the

establishment.

Ms. Lizz Abeleen S. Cubol, OJT adviser, who shared her knowledge to us and keep on

moulding them to be a better person.

To Francisco Osorio National High School, where continuously teach to all students

studying and the opportunity to be educated.

To our friends, classmates and co-trainees, for the happiness and sympathy and

understanding on not attending some occasions because of having a training.

Lastly, we would like to thank to God, for guiding and the blessing every day,

specifically for the strengths to overcome and turning her weaknesses to power, and for

everything that we have –the family, friends, and the enlightenment of mind for doing narrative

report.
IV. INTRODUCTION
“Work Immersion refers to the part of the Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum

consisting of 80 hours of hands-on experience or work simulation which the Grades 12 students

will undergo to expose them to the actual workplace setting and to enrich the competencies

provided by the school under the supervision of the School Head and the designated personnel of

the Partner.” Immersion is done outside the school campus in a “Workplace Immersion Venue,”

defined as “the place where work immersion of students is done. Examples of work immersion

venues include offices, factories, shops and project sites.”

Senior High School (SHS) students are now given the chance to enhance their skills in

their respective academic track through the K to 12 Work Immersion Program as a means to

develop competencies and work ethics in preparation for the real world and its challenges.

Having a work immersion makes her knowledgeable and well-learned on performing on her

designated area. She will encounter everything but this is the key to be develop.

Work-Immersion efforts and seriousness. A trainee should take the Work-Immersion

seriously as it can be a powerful tool for a person in preparing for the next chapter of life as a

professional. It can possibly be a source of recommendation when they take that big lift from

being students to career professional someday.


V. COMPANY PROFILE

Historical Background

CPC CONSTRUCTION Is a Filipino owned construction company established in early

1991 by CARLITO P. COLORADO , son of the late EMILIO P. COLORADO and CIPIRIANA

PANGANIBAN

CPC offers a full range of quality service through construction field which includes

General Contracting , Full Land Development Works , Design and Build Commercial ,

Residential and other related construction works .

Now going on its 27/th years of full operations CPCCONS Inc , formerly CPC

Construction , currently has about 150 highly trained pure Filipino Workers , Qualified Stuff and

registered Engineers.

Vision and Mission

The Company pursued the dream of becoming a credible and competent performer in the

field of constructions by delivering its every project with quality workmanship that provides

standard method of cost efficient engineering. Versatility in cost requirement and timely hand

over to the satisfaction of its individual clientele.

CPCCONS Inc. Top priority during project implementation always considers employees

safety and abide all safety standards and beyond necessary safety precautions at all time.

CPC logo means CARLITO PANGANIBAN COLORADO. This logo is unique due to

its remarkable use of the initial letters of the company’s name.

The company wants to create a strong image to carry a message of COMPETENT,

PERFORMER and CREDIBLE in field of construction

VI. NARRATIVE REPORT

Strength

The Strength of the CPCCONS is that they have a complete equipment and also the

company have a years of experience and they have a strength on their locations .

Weaknesses

The weaknesses of the CPCCONS is that they are lack in substitute materials like

black ink and there are low signal when it comes to the internet and we observe that they

have a poor service and also management .

Problems Encountered
The problems that we’ve encountered in the 2 weeks of our work in CPCCONS is

that not all of the staff was arrive at the right time so there will be a problem in their

particular jobs . Moreover, based on our observation , some staff is not focusing at their

jobs well , because there are times that they leave the office even if its not time to leave at

all. Additionally , we also encountered that they have a lack of staff , because there are

some free working areas to use but they have no one who using it so therefore we can say

that there are lack of staff in CPC office .

Recommendation for the problems

1. The CPCCONS should take policies that is connected to late coming .

2. The CPCCONS staff leader should spectate or observed every staffs in doing their

jobs.

3. The CPCCONS should hire Staffs who are willing to work to them.

Summary / Conclusion

We as a OJT student should require to know the responsibilities of being an

immersionist student . It needs to do every task that they asked and to give our best shot by

doing different jobs in order to have a better result which can enhance our knowledge and

to increase our learnings . We should wear our Smiles and put dedication and show that we
are willing to take that duties and responsibilities . The best thing that we should put into

our minds is that we should take it as an honor and make it with our whole heart in order

to make things wonderful.

This serves as a big help to us because it feeds our minds that we learn new and we

learn some strategies and we learn not only normal things but we learn on how to

communicate to others and also to learn how to care to each other.
