DAILY LESSON PLAN

I – OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates an understanding of the basic concepts and underlying theories in electrical installation and maintenance.
B. Performance Standard The learner independently demonstrates the common competencies in electrical installation and maintenance as prescribed by TESDA Training
Regulations.
C. Learning Competencies At the end of the two hour lesson 80% of the student shall,

IV – PROCEDURES
A. - Review of previous lesson on basic circuit concept and how to control a bulb by a flush type single pole switch.
- Show the student a traffic signs (One way, two way & three way traffic signs) and relate it to the new topic as motivation.
- Present the new lesson about the circuit using a 3-way switch
B. - Introduce wiring method using a 3-way switches in a circuit and its practical application in a real life scenario.

C. Present a video clips and a wiring diagram of a 3-way circuit


D. Ask:
a. What did you observed on the video?
- Present the wiring diagram using a 3-way switch and let the students identify its part.
E. - Let the students draw a wiring diagram of a circuit using a two 3-way switches?

F. - To develop student’s knowledge and skill on how a 3-way switch apply in a circuit, let them proceed to the practical work area for wiring a circuit
using a 3-way switch.
- Divide the students into four groups and using their wiring diagrams each group shall perform the Job Sheet 1.3 of the CBLM on pages 13-15, each
group will present their output in the class while the other groups will rate the presenter based on the observation checklist.
- Remind the students to observe the safety precautions at all times and always perform housekeeping after the job
G. - Let the students perform the actual installation of a circuit using a 3-way switch individually
- Observed the student output based on performance observation sheets.
H. In the given topic, we learned the basic wiring method of a circuit using a 3-way switches, identified the parts of a 3-way circuit and determine its
practical application in a real life scenario.
I. - Using the prepared rubrics, rate the individual performance of the students while performing the installation of a circuit using the 3-way switches

J. - Give the assignment for the next lesson & Practice housekeeping after the activity
