Good morning to all of you!

Talking about health, I have few questions to all of you.

Sino sa inyo ang may gusto ng malusog na pangangatawan?


Sino sa inyo ang may gusto ng matibay na resistensya laban sa mga sakit?
Sino sa inyo ang may gusto ng mahabang buhay?
And most of all, who wants a healthy life free from sickness?

These are some big questions about our health. The most popular quote about health
goes like this “Health is your greatest wealth” . But how can we maintain the
healthiness of our body? How can we fight diseases, aliments and sicknesses? How
can we assure to ourselves the longevity of our life that is free from health-related
problems? The most crucial question is, “Gaano ba natin kagusto magkaroon ng
healthy life?” We have an edge. Researchers and nutritionists recommended the most
effective and proven way for all questions regarding health. This is to have each and
everyone of us to have a diet – most especially a balanced and healthy diet.

Many of us always misinterpret the word “DIET”. Kung tatanungin mo ang mga kakilala
mo kung anong meaning ng salitang diet, ganito ang kanilang tugon.

“Diet? Iyan yung ginagawa ng mga matataba para pumayat.” O di kaya “Diet? Iyan yung
hindi ka kakain.”

Sometimes this is our mindset about diet. But I am here to change that definition and to
give you information all about diet. Ang pagkakaroon ng healthy diet ay hindi lamang
para sa taong matataba or obese or overweight. This is for each and everyone of us
willing to have a healthy body, a better resistance against disease and a long life.

Ano nga ba ang balanced diet?


A balanced diet needs to contain foods from all the main food groups in the correct
proportions to provide the body with optimum nutrition.

It should also be made up of the correct number of calories to maintain a healthy


weight, and be low in processed foods.

Paano natin makakamit ang balanced diet?


To achieve a healthy, balanced diet, it is important to eat at least three meals a day
and not to skip breakfast.

Each meal should be composed of a variety of foods from each food group and portion
sizes should be moderated to control calorie intake.
It is important to include everything you need in your diet, including:

 protein
 carbohydrates
 fat
 vitamins and minerals
 water
 fibre

Bakit kailangan natin ang balanced diet?


A balanced diet is one that provides the body with all the essential nutrients, vitamins
and minerals required to maintain cells, tissues and organs as well as to function
correctly.

A diet that is lacking in nutrients can lead to many different health problems ranging
from tiredness and lack of energy to serious problems with the function of vital organs
and lack of growth and development.

Dapat alam natin ang pagkakaiba ng healthy at unhealthy diet.

An unhealthy diet fails to provide your body with the correct amounts and types of
nutrients for maximum health. Too much and too less calories create unhealthy diet.
Overeating leads to health problems, including heart disease, high cholesterol,
diabetes and certain types of cancer. A high-fat diet is associated with an increased risk
of stroke or heart attack. Diets high in sugar can lead to obesity and health problems
associated with obesity.

Sa madaling salita. Masama ang too much at too less nutrients. Masama pag sobra at
masama din pag kulang.

Healthy eating is not about strict dietary limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or
depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more
energy, improving your health, and stabilizing your mood.

I am encouraging all of you na gawin nating habit ang pagkakaroon ng healthy diet to
achieve a healthy life. Walang ibang tutulong mapabuti ang kalusugan mo kundi ikaw
ikaw lang. You are the expert of your health but keep in mind the healthy and unhealthy
diet you can choose from.
“JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT SICK DOESN’T MEAN YOU ARE HEALTHY.” Sa
tagalog, Kahit wala kang nararamdaman na sakit, hindi ibig sabihin nun na malusog ka
na.

I think these would be all. I hope that you learned something from what I have
