General Description C

The Pressure Gauge Valve series 353 is

used in all Inbal Deluge, Dry Pipe,
Preaction, Manual and Remote Control,
Pressure Reducing, and Pressure Relief Inlet
Valves. Gauge Port
Valve model 353- ## -01 is a ¼" or ½" Port
3-way, L-port ball valve with a water

release aperture. When the Valve is open,

the pressure gauge reads the pressure.

When the valve is closed, the water is

released and the gauge is depressurized.
Pressure Gauge Valve model 353- # #-11
Vent
is a ½" 2 way ball valve with a Pressure
Release Unit. When the Valve is open, Port
the pressure gauge reads the pressure. A
Model 353-# #-01
After each reading the ball valve should
be closed and the Pressure Release Unit
should be open to release gauge pressure.

To read pressure turn the Ball Valve (1)

handle to be aligned with the pipe line. 1

To release gauge pressure, close the Ball
Valve and open the Vent Stem (3).
Pressure is released out of Vent Port.
When gauge reading drops to zero, close
the Vent Stem tightly.
