Rolan C. Raza
Secondary School Principal IV
Del Carmen National High School
Siargao, Surigao del Norte

Dear Raza:

Good day!
Thank you for teaching us word processing. Using a word processor for creating letters
gives everything you do a professional touch. Word processors not only give us precise control
over the size and appearance of words and paragraphs; they can handle and 3D words as well.
This can brighten and enhance clarity of text.
Let me also share you some formatting and font tips I’ve read:

 Ctrl + Enter. You can start a new page by processing Ctrl + Enter.
 RTF. When sending someone a document file but you do not know what word
processor he/ she uses, save it as an RTF (Rich Text Format). The RTF format preserves
most of the document’s formatting. Most of all, practically all word processors can
read it.
 Avoid underlining your text. Bold text or italic give a far better professional- looking
emphasis.
 Do not use ALL CAPITALS except for short headings. They make text hard to read.

Happy Sharing, Rolan, and God bless!

Very truly yours,

ANN CARLEN A. FLORES
