Resolution authorizing the Municipal/City Mayor ____________ representing the local

government unit of ______________________ to enter into Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with
the Department of Information and Communications Technology and for the adoption/implementation
of the Electronic Business Permits and Licensing System (eBPLS).

WHEREAS, the Electronic Business Permits and Licensing System (eBPLS) being deployed by
the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in collaboration with the
Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to recognize good governance performance
particularly in the adoption of good local governance;

WHEREAS, the Municipality/City of _________ is one of the recipients of the Electronic

Business Permits and Licensing System (eBPLS);

WHEREAS, upon thorough review of the terms and conditions of the Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA), the same are found to be in order;

NOW THEREFORE,

On motion of Hon. ___________, deemed seconded by Hon. ______________, it was

RESOLVED, to authorize, and this body hereby authorizes the Municipal/City Mayor, Hon.
____________________, representing the LGU of _________________ to enter into MOA with the
DICT and to adopt/implement the Electronic Business Permits and Licensing System (eBPLS).

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to the City/Municipal Mayor, Hon.
________, and the DICT for their information and reference.
