Find :
1. Columns 8 and 11 of Ybus matrix (manual calculation)
2. General form of power flow equations for bus 3 and bus 10
3. Hybrid form of power flow equations for bus 1 and bus 9
4. Voltage at bus 1 for the first iteration using Gauss-Seidel method.
5. Voltage at bus 10 for the last iteration using Gauss-Seidel method.
6. (Linearized) Equation used in each iteration for Newton Raphson method (use
“HNJL” for the non-zero elements of Jacobian marix).
7. Run the Power Flow program for the above system using Newton-Raphson and
Gauss-Seidel methods. Compare the solutions !
8. H15, N23, L8-12 and J35 for the first iteration.
9. ΔP2, ΔP4 and ΔQ4 for the last iteration
10. Identify if the Q limit of the generators are violated or not.
11. Identify if the voltage limit of the buses are violated or not. If there is any
violation, improve the voltage profile of the system.
12. (Linearized) Equation used in each iteration for Newton Raphson method for
the last iteration (use “HNJL” for the non-zero elements of Jacobian marix).
13. Power generated at the slack bus (use the output of power flow program).
14. Power flow in line 10 – 12 and 2 – 3 (use bus voltages from the output of
power flow program).
15. Losses in line 6 – 10 and 9 – 11 (use bus voltages of the output of power flow
program).
