In first semester, worked with students, planned some units, lessons, and assessments. Took over as lead teacher for the second
semester and was completely in charge of two periods of U.S. History (approximately 60 students). Planned and taught every unit and
lesson, including assessments and projects. Was in charge of classroom management as well as content instruction.

Tucson Parks and Recreation - Therapeutics, Tucson Az — Summer Program Recreation Worker
May –July 2016 (summer employment)
Supervisor: Liddie McNeil
Planned and carried out therapeutic recreation activities for ten developmentally delayed youth aged 12-14. Interacted with parents
and caregivers. Worked with a staff team of two other recreation workers. Activities planned and carried out included community
outings, swim instruction and recreation, arts and craft projects, physical education style activities, and sensory development activities.

Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Tucson Az — Summer Camp Unit Leader


May –July 2016 (summer employment)

Planned and carried out camp activities for Girl Scouts aged 7-14 on Mt. Lemmon, Arizona. Interacted with troop leaders and parents
at various camps. Also led a team of three to seven staff members aged 15-19 to carry out activities. Was in charge of groups of 12-40
girls.

I lead a team of seven other volunteer members. We meet several times per month to plan and carry out at least monthly activities for
the members of our congregation of approximately 150 to 200 members. These include service projects, cultural events, and
recreational pursuits and are planned to meet congregational goals of contributing to community, building unity, and growing faith. As
committee chair, I not only work towards these goals, but also foster the professional and academic skills of my committee members.

Assistant Leader in Religious Women’s Group — Church of Jesus Christ, Relief Society
September 2016 – September 2018

I am one of three leaders of our congregation’s women’s group which contains roughly 90 different women aged 18 to 31. I teach
classes on a regular basis, organize activities, coordinate community fellowshipping, and attend teacher and leadership trainings. This
position allows me to help many women in my community with projects like job training programs, transportation arrangements, and
emotional support.

Congregational Organist and Pianist — Church of Jesus Christ


January 2015 – Present

I prepare and play congregational hymns during our weekly church meetings each week. I also regularly accompany choirs and lend
other musical support. In order to accomplish this I took music lessons, attended organ workshops, and devoted several hours per
week to this position.
