Skills Summary

Division & Teachable Subjects: [I/S] Music & History

My previous work experiences and university career have afforded me the opportunity to develop a strong
work ethic, valuable social skills, great attention to detail, and problem solving skills in a variety of
circumstances. I am keen on creating a positive learning environment for all, and creating a strong sense of
community anywhere I go. Years of experience in competitive gymnastics and dance, soccer, and private
music lessons have helped me to become a well-rounded, lifelong learner who is constantly striving to better
myself.

Work Experience

Haldimand County FAPO Student Summer Maintenance – Summer of 2014-2018

Worked as a student in Facilities and Park Operations at the Haldimand County Caledonia Center, tasks in
landscaping & horticulture. This position was high profile, and often required me to interact with members of
the public. This afforded me the opportunity to refine my social skills, and problem solving skills.
Private Flute Instructor – September 2016-present
Duties included scheduling and rescheduling of lessons, planning and teaching music lessons to private
students, involving both practical and theoretical knowledge and skills regarding the flute and music in
general.

Caledonia Gymmies Level One Certified Gymnastics Coach – September 2008-August 2013
Duties included supervision of patrons and athletes on gymnastics equipment, planning and teaching
gymnastics classes, spotting athletes through new skills, correcting athletes with constructive criticism,
motivating athletes to learn new skills and grow as person through their training experiences. This experience
opened my eyes to the personal joys of imparting wisdom and skills, and taught me that education is a process
