BRIDGES AND AIRPORTS
Series of 2007 ~ g- 3.-07 )

In line with the mandate of the Department of providing effective standard


specifications to be used in the implementation of various infrastructure projects and
in view of the need of setting additional standard specifications for construction
materials, the attached compilation of approved standard specifications previously
prescribed under various Department Orders is hereby issued as ready reference and
guidance of field engineers and other DPWH personnel concerned.

This compilation shall serve as a Supplement to the 2004 DPWH Standard


Specifications Manual, Volume II.

This Order shall take effect immediately.

FOREWORD

The construction of quality and durable infrastructure has always been


the primary goal of the Department of Public Works and Highways in all
its undertakings.

To ensure this, we are providing the compilation of approved additional


DPWH Standards Specifications that were developed but not included in
the previously released 2004 Edition DPWH Standard Specifications
Volume II.

These supplemental guidelines will ensure that all field personnel have
the necessary ready reference to comply with and implement only the
highest standards in the implementation of all DPWH infrastructure
projects.

The imperative of quality must be our constant lookout and our


commitment.
