An IT application has two major parts: Front-end (The user interface) and back-end
(The database)
The back-end of an IT application is the database in which all the data is stored.
This database resides in the server. All the data which is requested by the front-end
is supplied by back-end. A good back-end ensures sustainability, efficiency and easy
modification of the application.
