Bolt On Half Arrows

The newly designed Bolt On GET (Ground Engaging Tool) offering allows a step up over the Cat® Weld
on offering. With an industry recognized bolt on retention system, this GET is design for extreme con-
ditions in abrasive environments where traditional weld on GET is subject to high wear rates. This GET
can be fully configured to match any bucket on your mine site. Built in wear indicators and replacement
corner segments allows the system to be integrated in scheduled maintenance easily and provides
quick visual indication of wear rates in any application. Corner guards are also a feature of the new bolt
on offering allowing the cast corners to have extended service life. Both corner segments have extend-
ed wear material designed to match the profile of Cat Heel Shrouds for ultimate protection in applica-
tions such as development and production environments where cleaning of spillage is key.

Cat Bolt On Half Arrow segments are designed to minimize overall carrying weight while keeping your
bucket protected. The unique front beveled edge has a low profile design to maximize pile penetration
allowing you to fill your bucket faster.

Wear and Tear

During the life of the Bolt On Half Arrow segments, parent material is designed to wear from the bottom
base and front at an even rate reducing the effect of dulling and maintaining their efficiency for their
serviceable life. Built in wear indicators are visual and easy to monitor the wear rate of your GET. The
first line signals 50% half-life has been reached and time to replace the corners with half-life segments.
The second line indicates the full service life of the segments has been reached and that a planned
change out is ready to be done.

Durability
Thorough stress testing and evaluation into application heat loading ensures this GET is capable for
any underground application. Whether it be a demanding production environment or chasing meters in
