Greetings!

The Bicol Association of Sanggunian Secretaries (BASS) – Masbate Chapter is proud to announce
the hosting of the SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON COMELEC LAWS AND JURISPRUDENCE
AFFECTING GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND ORIENTATION ON THE GUIDELINES OF SEAL
OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE (SGLG) FOR THE BARANGAYS cum REGIONAL
CONVENTION on February 20-23, 2019 at Hayahay Beach Resort, J.M Robredo Boulevard,
Ibingay, Masbate City. The activity is of two (2) parts: 1.) Orientation/Seminar on the new guidelines
of DILG for the SGLG at the Barangay Level and updates on COMELEC Laws and Jurisprudence
affecting employees in the local government and 2.) the Regional Convention wherein the members
of BASS, Inc. will elect its new set of officers. We have invited proficient resource speakers from
various fileds to enlighten the participants on these topics.

In this regard, may I respectfully request your usual support by allowing your Sangguniang
Panlalawigan Secretaries, Sangguniang Panglungsod Secretaries, Sangguniang Bayan Secretaries,
Assistant Secretaries, Board Secretaries, Legislative Staff, Barangay Secretaries and Other
Interested Officials and Employees to participate on official business in the said activity. Each
participant shall pay a registration fee of Eight Thousand Pesos (Php8,000.00) chargeable against
the local funds of the LGUs concerned subject to the usual accounting and auditing procedures.
