Introduction
E-Nventory is an web based supply chain management system especially designed for
hotels & restaurants. This system helps the restaurants and hotels to optimized and control
over the supply and usages of the raw products such as vegetables, milk ,meat etc. This system
helps to solve the problem of not getting good, quality raw products in time and
also reduces the travel cost. Our project’s main intention is to make easy supply of different
goods from one place to those in need of these goods in huge amount. This system supports
online ordering of the raw products where the owner or in-need personals can search & order
the products directly from the system which
drastically reduces the uncertainty of getting good products. This system also produces the
report of supply and usage of goods and analysis gives good result on the total consumption
and helps to predict the amount of items necessary for daily basis.

There are many more functionality like

• Drafting
• Consumption
• Report
• Analysis

The main goal is to maintain the restaurants and hotels in an effective and accurate manner
and also reduces the manual data entries. This software helps to track the day to day order of
the products.

Project Scope
E-Nventory will be a web based application whose main language of programming will be
PHP (Laravel) for backend and Bootstrap for frontend. Its main aim is to simplify and
improve the efficiency of the ordering process of the daily needed raw products for restaurant
and hotels, minimize manual data entry and ensure data accuracy and security during order
placement process. Owner will also be able to view product details and its price and be able to
have a visual confirmation that the order was place correctly. The system will have the
following features:

1. Platform independent
2. Can be used just by creating & verifying the user account
3. Search & Order products directly
4. Daily,Monthly & Yearly ordering report of ordering can be generated.

Limitation of the system

1. Requires internet connection and also the user must be computer literate.

Project Development Time

To develop the proposed system. It will take 2-3 months.
Tools to be used:

Visual Studio Code

• Visual Studio Code is a code editor redefined and optimized for building and
debugging modern web and cloud applications.

Laravel(PHP)
• Laravel is a free, open-source PHP web framework intended for the development of
web applications following the model–view–controller architectural pattern.

SQL
• SQL is a domain-specific language used in programming and designed for managing
data held in a relational database management system.

Bootstrap
• Bootstrap is a free and open-source front-end framework for designing websites and
web applications.

Requirements
Any device with a web browser and internet connection.
