Simão, apontou ontem, em Luanda,
como uma das prioridades do sector,
a melhoria da qualidade de ensino.
Ao falar no acto da sua apresentação
aos directores e funcionários do
Ministério da Educação, Mpinda
Simão disse que o sector vai dar
maior atenção à qualidade de ensino
e trabalhar para o aumento da
cobertura educativa.
Ëepois de receber as pastas das
mãos do ministro cessante, Burity da
Silva, Mpinda Simão disse que o
Ministério vai esforçar-se no sentido
de introduzir melhorias na qualidade
de ensino no país, principalmente nas
escolas primárias e secundárias.
³A população angolana é exigente,
mas o Ministério da Educação vai
procurar responder à essa exigência´,
disse.
O sector da Educação tem como
estratégia para o ano de 2010-2011
o relançamento da alfabetização, a
superação do atraso escolar e a
implementação do estatuto da
carreira docente.
Mpinda Simão sublinhou que o
Governo desenvolveu um programa
de produção de manuais escolares a
nível de todo país. ³Temos previsões
que ainda no próximo mês vamos
começar a receber o material
pedagógico que estará à disposição
de todas as províncias com vista a
reduzir os efeitos negativos que
temos tido em relação a esta
questão´, referiu. O ministro
considera a merenda escolar como
um combate ao insucesso escolar.

   

O ministro cessante, Burity da Silva,


disse que durante o seu mandato, o
Ministério da Educação fez o possível.
Apontou como um das acções
realizadas a expansão da rede
escolar. ³Hoje temos escolas em
todas as aldeias do país, a nossa
expansão virou-se muito para a área
rural´, disse.
Burity da Silva disse também que o
Ministério da Educação conseguiu
triplicar o número de alunos nas
escolas primárias e secundárias.
