1 AIM
‘This Group engineering standard defines the minimum requirements for equipment safeguarding
within Anglo Amercan Kumba Iron Ore operations.
To establish a safe standaré forthe guarding of equipment and mechinery.
2 MOTIVATION
‘This Group engineering standard shall be implemented jn conjunction wth the appicable Anglo
‘American Fatal Rsk Standards and Major Rik Standards for equipment safeguarding,
‘This governing standard shall be regarded as the minimum slandard to be applied throughout the
Kumba Iron Ore Group operations without exception.
