‘Ae SSs2m Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) Policy SOSEM is fully conscious of the crucial impact of giving due consideration to Health, Safety, Security and Environment preservation to the smooth running of our transport, lifting and other industrial services. ‘We committed ourselves to develop an HSSE integrated management system based on continuous improvement in order to meet all involved parties requirements and achieve targeted objectives with full consideration to all related risks. Adopting such a policy implies and leads to the fulfillment of the following objectives: Anticipating and meeting our customers’ and partners’ needs and expectations. Developing and perfecting our staff skills and competences Achieving continuous improvement and more efficieney to our HSSE integrated management system Preventing any risks related to our scope of activities whatever Ensuring the availability and safe maintenance of our park Developing and maintaining a system to prevent, anticipate and remedy to any personal prejudice or Health related issue Complying with all the applicable legal and regulatory HSSE requirements and adhering to campaigns, programs and conventions likely to promote the culture. In the framework of SOSEM economic, environmental and social commitments, management engages itself to: ; Consider our human capital as its main resource Apply a preventive approach to environmental issues Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility in particular by improving industrial solid waste management, control of atmospheric releases and the rationalization of energy and water consumption ‘To meet these commitments, we are determined to identify and provide the necessary resources and information and continuously improve the efficiency of our system. In the same context, a representative of the senior management has been appointed to coordinate and ‘communicate our actions in order to follow up the evolution of our integrated management system and the improvement to be made to achieve this. ‘The responsibility for compliance with this policy is also the duty of all staff who should take ownership and responsibility for adhering and contributing to the efficiency of our HSSE management system. This policy is made accessible to external concemed people and will be subject to periodic audits and reviews to make sure its relevance and adequacy. As we believe HSSE is everyone’s business, we will continue to build a culture where all employees share this commitment and continuously strive to be atthe level of our customers and stakeholders.
