a. Describe a Cube
b. Identify the dimension of a cube
c. Make use of the formula V= SxSxS in finding the volume of a cube
d. Solve the volume of a given Rectangular prism
e. Perform unity in group discussion.
II. Learning Content

Teacher’s Activities Pupils Activities

 Class, I had given you an assignment right? Yes sir!
 Bring out your assignment and exchange
notebook with your seatmates
 Anyone of you can solve the Area of the given
Circle. In the Board
4. Review
 Class we’ve tackled yesterday about Area of the
Circle.

5. Motivation
 Class, have you ever played a Jigsaw Puzzle?
 Ok, I ha 3 sets of Jigsaw puzzle here. Each group
will be given one set of it. Form the puzzle as
fast as you can. The fastest who can form the
puzzle and post it on the board is the winner of
the game. The winner will received an
additional 5 points in our activity later.
 Setting of Standard
(Remember That you should work as a group or
team. The noisy group will disqualified to our
game.
B. Developmental Activities
 What can you say about this Cube?
 (Refer to the Jigsaw Puzzle)
 Anyone of you who can point out which is the V= S x S x S
side of the figure ?
 Well Done ! These are the sides of the cube.
What do you think is the formula in getting the
volume of a Cube

 I have here a Cube. It’s side is equal to 3cm.

What would be it’s volume?
 Let us now apply the formula you identify a
while a go. Again what is the formula again?
 Ok after identifying the formula to use in getting
the volume of a Rectangular Prism, what would
be the next step?
 Let us now substitute the given values on the
formula
