Indian work ethics

1. NISHKAMA KARMA
According to Indian ethos Nishkama Karma must be performed with no
detachment without expecting any profit for the work done .Gita emphasised that
a detached mind is essential as it enables to make mind calm which helps to take
clear decisions. Further a calm mind enables to think divergently.It will elicit
invovations and creativity .
2.HUMAN TOUCH
Indians are lucky to have a good parental care from the child hood and he grows
with full protection and so he is imbibe love and emotional link with the society
which facilitates cohesive team building and he believes in building old
relationships and it enables to nurture old relationships .It certainly develops
synergy
2. CO-OPERATION
Co-operation is the key word in the team work.Gita says that by only mutual
help we can achieve high level of human welfare..Excessive competition may
destroy the lives of many young people .Indian ethos strongly believes that

3.GOAL
The organisational goal should society oriented .
4 . SIMPLE LIVING AND HIGH THINKING
5 RESPECT FOR ELDERS: integration of experience and knowledge

7 RIGHTS AND DUTY. indian does not consider as right but it believes that right
will follow after the duty

Work ethos – Indian perspective

Why does India, with the fourth largest contingent of scientists and engineers in the
world, falls in the category of countries that have the lowest per capita income? Can
Indian Culture, if it also is reinterpreted, act as a saviour and free us from the bondage
of the retrograde pronouncements made on our scriptures by the pandas and
international researchers? Can our Cultural heritage – if rediscovered, reinterpreted
and holistically integrated (with grey areas explained and parables reduced to logic in
a way that is readily intelligible to the mildly dogmatic individuals, yet considered at
