“PARENT’S INVOLVEMENT IN SCHOOL LEARNING”

It is known to lead and to improve outcomes for students of all ages. Schools and Teachers can
support parent’s involvement by any means; by building partnership to connect learning at home, by
structuring students learning in school. This describes how parents will support their children’s
academic achievements and well being.

Parent’s involvement usually focuses on school-based activities such as attending school events or
volunteering in class, participating in all school programs improving and enhancing teachers and school
curriculum. Parents involvement should also encompasses children’s learning at home, at school and
even in the community, recognizing the cultural and socio diversity of families to school correlation and
to their community relations.

Learning at home is important to build children’s confidence, motivation, capability and


competence as learner’s. Schools, Teachers and Parents partnership mindset and approach can value
children’s learning by communicating effectively, building trust, sharing information and resources with
their families. These interests force to focus on the student needs in inducing them with common and
often shared purposes from their Parents and their Schools.

The development of children in learning progress can be identified by such indicators as better
grades, attendance, and a good attitude. It can be monitored through good communication between
parents and teachers. One form of parent involvement in school is communicating with teachers.
Communication can be a bridge for parents to get involved in children's education. In essence, parents
have an obligation and responsibility to carry out the education of their children. Parents in the learning
process can influence children’s development. For this reason, the quality of education can be improved
by involving parents in education.

Parents – School partnership can truly support positive and terms outcome that can bring their
children’s and their learner’s in high and efficient person they will become in their lives. Together with
Parents and School resources will for sure enrich their children’s and their students learning and well
being they will become.
