The literary meaning of copyright refers to right to copy. An intellectual property law which is used
to provide protection for the original works of any individual is termed as a copyright. This
includes the following works such as literary works, dramatic and musical works and other artistic
pieces like poetry, novels, songs, movies, computer software etc. though the things like facts,
ideas, systems, and methods cannot be protected with this copyright, yet it can be used to protect
the way in which the above things are expressed.
Though all of your works which is related to art, music and any other things as mentioned above,
is provided with either a formal or non formal copyright protection with copyright registration with
any of the copyright office, yet it is very essential to register copyright which adds on as a proof
for the copyright ownership. This provides protection against any of the copyright infringement.
The following includes the creative works which are required to be registered for copyright. These
works are recorded in the electronic format. Works include, fiction, poems, scripts, music, lyrics,
photographs, drawings or paintings,, websites, etc. There are three important things that are
required to be sent along with when you are going to register copyright. This include:
There are different forms available to register copyright for different types of works. Form TX is
used for literary type of works and computer programs, form PA is used for arts, form SE for
registering serials and periodicals, form G/DN for daily newspapers and newsletters and form SR
is used in case of registration of sound recordings. Form VA is used for visual arts.

COMPANY INCORPORATION
When you chose to register a company in India, an application for name availability has to be filed
with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and post approval of the same; the following documents are
to be filed for company registration.
Articles of Association;
A declaration stating that all the requirements of the Companies Act 1956 and the applicable
rules with respect to the company registration and other matters have been complied with;
Information about directors, managing directors and managers and secretary must be submitted
in a prescribed form 32;
Post review of these documents, the registrar of companies will grant the certificate of
incorporation.
FIRM REGISTRATION
A Partnership is defined by the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, as 'the relation between persons
who have agreed to share profits of the business carried on by all or any of them acting for all'.
This definition gives three minimum requirements to constitute a partnership, viz.
(1) there must be an agreement entered into orally or in writing by the persons who desire to form
a partnership,
(2) the object of the agreement must be to share the profits of business intended to be carried on
by the partnership, and
(3) the business must be carried on by all the partners or by any of them acting for all of them.
LLP INCORPORATION
LLP is a partnership formed and registered under LLP Act, 2008. It is a hybrid of partnership firm
and a company. Ministry of Corporate Affairs is the administrative ministry and Registrar of
Companies is the administrative authority. It is a body corporate having perpetual succession and
is a legal entity separate from its partners.
To register LLP, all designated partners of the proposed LLP shall obtain “Designated Partner
Identification Number” by filing application individually online in Form- 7.
Partner / Designated partner of LLP / proposed LLP, whose signatures are to be affixed on the e-
forms has to obtain class 2 or class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) from any authorized
certifying agency.
Select name of proposed LLP and file Form-1 for reservation of name.
Once the name is reserved, fill up Form-2 “LLP Incorporation Document and Statement”.
Form -3 (Information with regard to LLP agreement and changes, if any made therein) and Form-
4 (Notice of Appointment of Partner/Designate Partner, his consent etc.) are to be filed. Once the
above forms are filled according to the provisions of LLP Act, the LLP will be ready to start its
operations.
STATUTORY COMPLIANCES
After the entity is created, the promoters of the business have to get their organisation registered
with various government departments like IEC, VAT, Service Tax, Income Tax etc. There are
certain other registrations beneficial for the business like MSMED (Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises Development Act), STPI registration etc. RMC assists the clients in getting the
