“Upholding the Christian values amid peer pressure and moral issues in the 21st century”
Scenario 1: Cutting classes
Narrator: Once in a certain High School, there are 3 girls namely Nez, Aeds and Juds who are
friends that care to each other and no one can stand on their friendship, even problems to their
academics.
One afternoon, boredom strike to their brains and got them to do nothing, until Nezila got an
idea.
Nezila (N): Guys, I think I don’t want to go to class, our professor’s so booooooring and we’ll
just waste our time sitting in his class.
Judy (J): Yeah! That’s a great idea! Let’s cut class!
Aedlyn (A): Stop it you guys! we need to stay here in class, because I know we’re going to have
a pop quiz any second and you two both know that I can’t afford to fail ‘cause of my scholarship.
N: You’re so studious! Your life is a boring one. And I think you should take a break and add
some spice to your boring life
J: Come on guys! Let’s go! (grabs their hand) It’ll be your 1st time to cut class, it’ll NOT affect
your scholarship!
A: (thinking while walking)
*** The 3 of them went outside the school and stop at the sari-sari store near the school***
N: (buys a cigarette)
( N and J lit the cigars and puffed a smoke)
J: Aed, try this one! A good stress reliever from all the pressure in life
A: Guys, can you please stop it? I can’t and won’t smoke.
N: How did even we became friends in the first place? We don’t have any similarities. You’re
such a good girl !
J: We’ve been friend for a long time. And it’s the 1st time we offer you to do stuff. Please, as a
friend, do us a favor and try this.
A: The answer is still no. It’s bad for our health.
N: Try it just one
(J gave her the cigar)
(A accepted it)
(Still hesitant, but for the sake of there friendship)

A: Ok, how does it work?

N: That’s our girl, like this. Judy will show you. (points at J)
J: Hold it like so.
A: Like this?
J: Yeah! That’s right, then we lit it like this
A Just like this? I just huff and puff right?
N: Woooow ! You’re doing great for a 1st timer
J: ok, since you know how to use it, let’s try something new! You’re going to like this.
A: (hesitant) What are you trying to say?
N: Come on! Just follow us.
(J and N whispering to each other)
J: We have something for you
A: What is it?
N: it’s a surprise!
J: 1st lets go shopping !
A: Sure! Lets go

*** Scene 2: Shoplifting***

A: I thought we’re going shopping? Why are we here in the liquor store?
N: We’ll buy some liquors and here’s your surprise!
J: The surprise is we’re going to take the liquor without even paying for it!
A: You mean we’re going to steal?! Let me tell you something, 1st we’re under aged girls that
shouldn’t drink alcoholic beverages and 2nd we’ll get caught!
N: Oh boo-hu! If you can’t handle being with us, then go find your own friend then!
J: Oh, you’re such a saint aren’t you? A little goody two shoes
A: I’m not that of a saint! I did some bad things
N: oh yeah? Give us 1 thing you’ve done bad
A: Well, I .. I did that one thing!
J: what one thing?
A: I sat on the grass when there’s the sign “Keep off the grass”
(J & N started laughing)
J: That was very bad!!! (mockery)
N: yeah! Hey guys! We don’t want to mess with Aeds, right?! (still laughing)
A: You guys can’t be laughing all day
J: Oh yes we can!
(Started feeling embarrassed and peer pressure builds up to prove that she can do with things to
them)
A: I can do bad things
N: oh yeah?
A: yes!
J: Prove to us. We’ll be waiting for you, right over there by the fountain.
*** After 10 mins***
N: What the heck is taking her so long? Where is she?
J: No wait, I think that’s her, she’s going this way.
A: Hey guys! (panting and panicking) I finally did it!
N: What did you do exactly?
A: shoplifted from the liquor store. Got 2 bottles!
J: Huh! Maybe we’re wrong, but still, maybe we’re right
A: What do you mean?
N: How far will you go for this friendship?
A: I don’t know what you’re talking about.
J: I know a place near our school.
N: Ok, lets hurry ! our spot is the way to chill and to unwind. Better yet, no one will pass by,
neither a car nor a person.
J: Lets go! What are we waiting for? (waiving the bottle)
*** Scene 3: Hanging spot***
Scene 3. Hanging spot
N: This seems a good spot for chillin. Lets chill here for the day
A: but we're here at the Anthonys billiards and restobar thats near our sch?!!? Lets just hang at
the library, that seems to be a good place.
J: you shoplifted a store of liquors and here they are! Are u freaking kidding us?!
A: no. Its just that, i feel that its too much for me to handle in a day. N: lets just go in (grabs
aeds hand) Narration: After Nez single handedly forced aedlyns hand towards the table they sat
and forced her to drink.
A: you know that i dont drink! J: just a sip. It'll be delish ! (Juds and Nez grab Aeds forearm and
shookt it) Nez: come on! Just a littlr Juds: yeah! Just a sip !
A: well, idk. But just a little.
N: here u go. (Aeds sipped)
J: what can u say? (Before aeds can say anything, the door slammed hard and came in the police)
Jeff: NOBODY MOVE!!! PUT YOUR HANDS UP WHERE I CAN SEE THEM ! (everyone in
the restobar were hysterical. But the 3 girls remained in their seats and looked at each other.
Unknown of the consequences they are about to be in)
Jeff: you 3! Are u all minors?!
Juds: y .. ye .. yes? N: No! We're not minors! We're adults having fun
Jeff: a huh? (Then she noticed aeds who's head is bow down) YOU! are u a minor?
Aeds: N.. no. Jeff: dont u dare lie to me missy! Aeds: yes. Im a minor (teary eyed) (Nez and juds
stared at each other with worried eyes)
Jeff: you 3 come with me! We're going to the police station and I will call your parents!!!
Aeds: NO!!! PLEASE! I CANT BEAR TO BE IN JAIL?! I HAVE MANY THINGS TO DO!
AND THEY STARTED IT! THEY PRESSURED ME INTO CUTTING CLASSES! THEY
PRESSURED ME TO SHOPLIFT! AND THEN HERE WE ARE ALL BECAUSE I WAS
FORCED TO BE IN HERE AND DRINK ALCOHOL.
Jeff: Look kids, I was once peer pressured too. I know what you feel right now. (Sat next to the
3 girls) Look, you're all young for this things. You shouldn't be here and doing this. If I have
been always peer pressure, I wouldnt be the a police offier right now, even if I'm getting bald.
You should've been strong in resisting the temptations of this life gives to you. Think of your
parents! Do you know how much hardships they went through just to send you to a good school
and prepare you for a bright future? Be smart guys and think twice in all what you do.
Now that I’ve known your story, it’s your discretion to tell your parents on what
happened here. But for me, I’ll tell this to them and I’m sure they will be proud of you. Because
this very moment your life turns right. I won’t bring you to the police custody for this light
felony. I hope this is your first and final warning.
Aeds: Yes officer. On this day, I will be thinking twice for every decision I’ll make because this
is for the sake of my future. Pals, please hear the advice of our police officer because he is right.
Juds: Sorry for our mistakes. I can’t be a good friend to you on this time. But I swear I’m gonna
change. And be a good friend of yours.
Nez: Me too, this is our wakeup call guys, We need to think twice and wise. Be motivated in our
studies because our parents are working hard for us just to make sure that we will have a bright
future.
Jeff: Okay kids, let’s go and get out of this miserable place. Let me drop you home safe.
Aeds: Thank you officer. Let’s go guys!
Narrator: The police officer drive them home safely and the 3 girls told their parents on what
happened and promised that it wont happen again.
