BIBBLE TEACHING ON PRINCIPLE OF PRAYER

Prayer is the only means through which we talk to God our father in
heaven, and prayer is also divine to mankind. There are rules for
prayer; the rules are guideline to guide man whenever he or she wants
to pray to his or her father in Heaven.

What is Principle?: Principles means guiding rules for behavior? In

Mathew we are told not to be like the hypocrites. Mathew 6:5-6, &7-8,
Luke 18:10-14, Mathew 6:7-8, Eccl 5:2, 1 Kings18:26-29, 36-39

The bible said before we kneeled down to ask , God already knows our
problems. Susanna 42:42-43(Mtt 6:8), 1 Samuel 1:9-12, 1Chronicles 4:9-
10; Acts 4:24-30, Luke 22:39-42, 1Thess5:17

In life we have three (3) principal key characters for an access prayer

What is principal? Principal means highest in order of importance. Faith

Heb.11:6, Heb 12:14, Holiness

What is Character? Character means of a person’s moral nature,

qualities that makes one person different from others. Proverb 29:7

(1) The number one character for access prayer is sincerity.

What is sincerity? Sincerity is an act of being genuine, truth, and
wholesomeness in act of life, Gen 20:5-6. Susanna 1:42-44, 1 John 3:19-
21, 1Samuel 24:1-11, 12-15, 16-21, 1 Samuel 18:1-16, Tobit 8:4-7,Gen
24:12-13, Psalms 45:18, Tobit 4:14-15, 1 Tim 5:18, Deut 25:4, Lev 19:13,
Luke 10:7, Mtt 20:8-14.

But to the wicked Prov 21:27,Prov 15:29, Psm 50 :9, Prov 15:8, Ish 66:3 -
4, Jere 6:20-21, Amos 5:22-24, Ish 1 :15-18, Numbers 22:11-12, 35-41,
23:1-8

(2) Number two (2) Principal Key character for an access prayer is
forgiveness.

What is forgiveness?: Forgiveness: Forgiveness is an act of forgiving

one another, overlooking somebody’s wrong willingly

(3)Number three (3) Principal Key character for access prayer is ALMS
GIVING.

What is ALMS GIVING? Alms giving are an act of providing something

to somebody in times of his or her need; it could be a neighbor, Enemy,
Friend, brother or sister. Sirach 7:10, Deut 15:11-14, prov 11:25, Tobit
4:7,8;10-11, Prov 19:17, Sirach 29:12 -19, Act 9:336-42, Gen 18:1-5, 6-8,
9-15, IIcor 8:2-3

STINGINESS is a hindrance to access prayer.

What is stingy? Stingy is an act of not giving or giving willingly, not

generous, stinginess is a barrier to any one’s prayer who does not give
out.

A stingy man is an outcast before the lord.

Tobit 4:7, sirach 14:3-10, Sirach 18:15-18, 1 Samuel 25:3-9.

Careless Talk is a hindrance to access prayer: 1 Sam 25:10-11, Prov

13:3, Prov 21:23, Prov 18:20 -21.

Revenge is a hindrance to access prayer: 1 Sam 25:39, Prov 19:11.

Selfishness is a hindrance to access prayer : 1Samuel 25:21, Ps 109:5,

Acts 1:18-20, 26, Prov 17:13, Romans 12:17 -19, 1Thess 5:15, Jere 18:20
