We believe that all students have the right to be protected from abuse and neglected. We recognize
that schools fill a special institutional role in society as protectors of children. Schools need to ensure
that all children in their care are afforded a safe and secure environment in which to grow and
develop, both at school and away. Educators, having the opportunity to observe and interact with
children over time, are in a unique position to identify children who are in need of help and
protection. As such, educators have a professional and ethical obligation to report suspicions of
abuse to school authorities. Bible Christian Academy of Cavite Inc. seeks to be a safe haven for
students who may be experiencing abuse or neglect in any aspect of their lives.
Guiding Principles
All children have equal rights to be protected from harm and abuse.
Everybody has a responsibility to support the protection of children.
All schools have a duty of care to children enrolled in the school and those who are
affected by the operations of the school.
All actions on child protection are taken with the best interests of the child, which are
paramount.
